Offering high quality products, Rufus & Coco have built and enviable reputation working with some of Australia’s leading veterinarians, animal nutritionists, product formulators and manufacturers to develop a concise range of products and stock and extensive range in leading Australian retailers such as Woolworths, Big W and Coles; in addition to major pet chains, independent pet stores, select veterinary clinics and pharmacies.
Rufus & Coco is also in select retailers in Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand and the USA.
Building on the success achieve in international markets, Rufus & Coco selected the JMB Partnership to assist with the sales and marketing activity for entry into the UK market via a comprehensive initial meetings programme.
Based on a set five day schedule, JMB developed a comprehensive meeting programme targeting key UK distributers and retailers including pet care specialists and high street supermarkets.
Provided with a ‘wish list’ of organisations as a start point, JMB developed and identified these contacts by pre-qualifying potential prospects and key decision makers by scoring their suitability against an agree criteria.
JMB then developed a comprehensive report of each potential target identified which demonstrated their suitability and included information on size and financials of each potential partner.
Once key targets were identified and rated, JMB developed relationships with those with a high scoring and were then given the opportunity to meet with a Rufus & Coco representative to discuss potential partnerships.
Over the five day meetings programme Rufus & Coco attending, along with a JMB representative, over eight high quality meetings with some of the UK’s leading supermarkets, pet care specialists and distributers; including ASDA, Pets at Home and 3P Enterprises.
The programme itself was not only a huge success in attracting engaged targets, but key to developing relationships and facilitating discussions regarding contracts which would otherwise have not been possible preceding a face-to-face meeting; whilst providing Rufus & Coco with a valuable insight and intelligence of the UK market place.
